France's Alstom sells entire 20% stake in Transmashholding
MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- France's Alstom has sold its entire 20% stake in railway equipment producer Transmashholding to the Russian shareholders, CEO of Transmashholding Kirill Lipa told PRIME on Tuesday.
"There can be no re-registration (of the company to Moscow from Cyprus) until we close the deal with Alstom," Lipa said. "They must finish this until the end of the year."
Transmashholding’s shareholder structure is not public. According to an earlier company report, Alstom had a 20% stake, while several Russian businessmen were also the shareholders. All shares of the company are consolidated with a Cypriot firm.
